Description
Wet masks work more to infuse active ingredients into the skin, hydrate, soothe, calm, heal and freshen the skin. They tend to remain moist on the skin and are usually gel based or made from plants, fruit, vegetables, honey or eggs.
The mask is to be applied after cleansing and exfoliating for maximum absorption.
It is advisable to steam your face for a few minutes first over a bowl of hot water, placing a towel over your head so as steam does not escape. This action helps in the drawing process of the mask for maximum benefit.
Apply a thin layer of mask to the face avoiding the delicate eye area and leave on for at least 10 minutes.
Rinse off with warm water and a facecloth, pat dry and apply toner and moisturiser.
